Working together for an even better Buckhead.
Four prominent Buckhead organizations – Buckhead Coalition, Buckhead Community Improvement District, Livable Buckhead and Buckhead Business Association – are working together to create a more unified and integrated approach to local leadership.
Each organization brings its own strengths, but they share a common purpose: making Buckhead a vibrant community that is welcoming for business, residents and visitors alike.
The Buckhead Coalition is an influential nonprofit civic association, much like a chamber of commerce, for the Buckhead Community in the city of Atlanta. The Buckhead Coalition’s mission is to advocate on behalf of the community within the city of Atlanta and metropolitan region; to support the well-being of Buckhead’s residents, businesses and visitors; to convene public and private sector leaders and partner organizations; and to connect Buckhead to other areas of the city and region.
The mission of the Buckhead CID is to create and maintain a more accessible and livable urban environment. BCID meets the challenges of growth by investing tax dollars collected from commercial property owners within the district, as well as other funds leveraged from outside the district, to make meaningful improvements in the transportation network and public realm that connect people and places.
Livable Buckhead is a nonprofit organization that strives to ensure the long-term viability and prosperity of the Buckhead community. The organization achieves its mission by working cooperatively with individuals, public entities and private businesses to integrate sustainable strategies. Livable Buckhead implements programs related to greenspace, recycling, energy efficiency, commute alternatives, arts and culture, real estate development and land use.
The Buckhead Business Association is a nonprofit organization promoting a positive and informed business environment for its members to achieve cultural, civic, social, economic, and business goals, and actively contribute to the vitality of the greater Buckhead community.
